Martha Akawa is the Head of the Department of Geography, History and Environmental Studies at the Unversity of Namibia in Windhoek. She and a group of students visited the Basler Afrika Bibliographien in August 2015. In this interview she talks about becoming a historian, her research interests and history debates in Namibia.
